Xavier Roca Sr, shareholder, founder and delegate adviser from the start, initiated the promoting business in February 1968 by creating the company Eurotossa Inc. which purpose was to lead and run the creation of the urban ground in Tossa de mar and Girona in the sector of estates that later was called “Mas Font- urbanization”.

The firms first mission was that during a period of ten years construct in the north part to the left of Tossas river.

It was and is to day a ground on more than 50 hectares seen as a triangle formed by the highway cross Sant Feliu de Guixols and Llagostera at the least an ankle of 90 degrees that is ended with rustic buildings, where you to day can find the camping “Can Martí” and the first woody hills with pine trees and cork oaks that surrounds Tossa.

The grounds that our company developed was and is in the spread area in the valley by Tossas river with direction southeast and therefore very sunny and with spread views over the castle and the beach. It was the most natural area for developing the village and it became to be the third biggest residential area in the village and with a good reception by the habitants of Tossa who soon started to move in to these residential areas that we created. By the hills we did put familiar villas and rowhouses and in the lowest part of the area we put buildings meant for residences, hotels and stores,..

Consolidated, Eurotossa Inc. whose main task became bigger and changed its purposes.

1971- Lead the transformation of the ground, construction and promotion of the bus-station in Tossa. The resign of the local authorities.

1972- Mas Fonts residential block and many pair-houses.

1973- 78- Construction of a tourist- complex, “Sa Coma”, consisting of buildings with a total of 120 residences and a commercial centre, restaurants, tenniscoarts, indoor and outdoor-pools,.. During the 80 th ´s some part of this complex was used as a board and lodging for tourists.

1980-85- Eurotosaa Inc. participates in promotions of plurifamiliar blocks in the older part of Tossa.

1986- Lead, promote the first apartment-hotel that was built in Tossa; Aparthotel Tossa Park.

1987- The residential complex “Les Veles”

1999-2001- Promotion of blocks in the old town.

After the great crisis in the sector, from year 1995,we started the promoting firm in Tossa and in their nearest villages such as Blanes, Palafolls, Lloret de mar, Cassà de la Selva.

Firms are created for different promoting cicles

Eurotossa becomes a limited firm and a part of the group.

Promotora Giveda Inc. is the vertebral firm in the group.

Tossa 2001 Inc. for promotion and exploitation of hotel industries.

Promotora Giveda La Selva Inc. is the residential promoter.

All the firms are parts in its totality by the Roca-family, that at the same time has brought about new members with responsible rolls.

Present times the business has consolidated and it is already a fact the second generation of the Roca-family for direction of the group.
